Essential Functions

Major responsibilities include:

 

  • Perform accounting due diligence for corporate M&A initiatives
  • Analyze acquisition target's financial statements and identify potential risk areas
  • Review of Purchase Agreements and any schedules
  • Analyze issues regarding integrating the acquired company’s financial information into corporate accounting system
  • Provide assistance to Purchase Accounting group as needed
  • Perform audit of closing Balance Sheet
  • Application of GAAP to complex transactions

 

 

Position Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5-7 years accounting experience. CPA preferred but not required.
  • Public accounting firm experience preferred
  • Comprehensive GAAP accounting knowledge, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience with due diligence
  • Excellent organizational, communication and management skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an effective ability to influence others and establish and maintain effective cross functional relationships.
  • Ability to respond to internal and external customer needs in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Travel up to 25%
