The individual will be accountable for budgetary and forecasting activities for a single plant, in accordance with corporate and division policies and procedures. He/She will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of actual results against forecast and budget, and compiling, analyzing and projecting financial information for the organization.
The position is responsible for balancing financial controls, with efficiency for continuous improvement, developing and reporting metrics with action items for improvement, facilitating the decision making processes regarding the business across the organization.
The position will provide leadership and mentoring to less experienced financial staff plus offer solutions and guidance to other business areas. The incumbent will exhibit ownership and accountability for both routine activities and unique assignments.
The individual needs to be detailed oriented, understand cost accounting, have a sense of urgency and excellent time management skills.
The individual needs to be able to work with a variety of people within the organization, needs to be a change agent and comfortable talking in front of management. Manufacturing experience working for a company with revenue minimum of $100M required.
This position is primarily guided by specific assignment objectives. Supervision is chiefly in the form of high level functional, schedule and cost requirements. A large degree of autonomy is expected in this position.
This position is considered a a developmental opportunity as the intent is to promote the successful candidate to a higher level position within the Finance Department.
BS Degree in Accounting required. Manufacturing Environment experience required along with ten years experience in the accounting/finance field.
