Widely-respected private equity firm is currently looking to hire a Finance Manager to join their Boston team!!  You will be responsible for functions related to portfolio investments, including developing a thorough understanding of the legal, accounting and tax structure of portfolio investments; assisting with acquisitions and dispositions; monitoring changes in investments; coordinating quarterly valuation of investments; developing a database to analyze portfolio company financials; and administering domestic and international entities. Additionally, you will assist with Limited Partners functions, including capital calls and distributions, responding to queries of Limited Partners, managing US tax withholding on income of foreign LPs and handling special projects as needed.  The qualified Finance Manager must have a Bachelor’s degree; 6+ years of financial and accounting experience in public accounting, private equity or investments; CPA and MBA strongly preferred; superior communication, interpersonal, technical, problem-solving and project management skills; and you must demonstrate outstanding analytical thinking skills coupled with a proactive, can-do attitude and a detail-oriented work ethic.
