Role Summary/Purpose
Essential Responsibilities * Provide financial analysis of operating results for the Lighting Distribution Operations (~$125MM total cost) including VCP, Inflation, Base cost, and Finished Inventory * Provide financial leadership as a key staff member * Drive realization of productivity targets by supporting team to develop operating metrics linked to financials * Identify opportunities for cost-out improvements at the MDC’s, and with the Logistics team managing transportation. * Provide guidance to operating staff regarding all financial matters * Lead and provide coaching to a Genpact resource, and effectively support FP&A Finance requirements * Develop SI, SII, Plan, quarterly estimates and weekly pulse * Support Operating team to develop long-term strategic vision for the Distribution Network * Prepare monthly balance sheet estimates and account reconciliations * Ensure controllership of each site, particularly in areas of physical inventories, operating routines, fixed assets and Standard Costing * Identify and complete special projects (including Six Sigma) impacting key operating metrics and delivering productivity or deflation.
Qualifications/Requirements * Strong analytical skills * Minimum 4 year undergraduate degree * Minimum 5 years work experience * FMP or equivalent training * Green Belt certified * Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills * High energy level with the ability to independently lead a team with little supervision Additional Eligibility Qualifications For U.S. employment opportunities, GE hires U.S. citizens, permanent residents, asylees, refugees, and temporary residents.
