Join the Accenture Finance & Performance Management team and you will play a central role in developing innovative business solutions that help CFO clients improve operational efficiency and transform their finance function into a world class organization. As a Finance & Performance Management business consultant, you will support clients with capabilities in the areas of Corporate Finance, Finance Operations, Risk Management and Enterprise Performance Management to help them achieve high performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Organize and facilitate process workshops in one or more core finance areas:  Record-to-Report (RtR), Procure-to-Pay (PtP), Order-to-Cash (OtC) to solicit business and process requirements
  • Work collaboratively with client subject matter experts to clarify requirements
  • Document as-is processes in core finance areas
  • Design to-be processes and roles leveraging leading practices and enabling technologies
  • Design reporting requirements for operational reports, service level agreements, and process KPI's
  • Manage transition of work from sending organization to target organization - includes transition management, knowledge transfer, process re-engineering
  • Assist with shared services operating model design and implementation including governance and service management
  • Conduct business case analysis for a shared services program
  • Apply structured problem solving techniques to complex design and implementation issues
  • Ability to meet travel requirements, up to 100%

 

Qualifications

 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance and accounting back-office operations, e.g., AP, Order Management, AR, Collections, GL, asset management, financial reporting, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
  • At least 1 project in one or more phases (i.e., assessment, planning, design, development, implementation, and operational support) of the implementation of finance and accounting shared services centers or business process outsourcing in one of the core finance process areas (RtR, PtP, OtC)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • CPA, CFA, CA, MBA, CMA or experience as an accountant
  • Applying knowledge of regulatory compliance including Sarbanes-Oxley, IFRS, Basel II
  • Direct experience in creating business change using SAP, Oracle or PeopleSoft Financials
  • SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft Financials configuration, conversion or detailed process design
  • Experience with other major ERP packages (JD Edwards, etc)
  • Software selection and CRP/prototyping skill
  • Experience working with a management consulting firm

 

Professional Skills:
