JOB DESCRIPTION
Contract assignment - 5+ months

JOB DUTIES:
This candidate would interact via telephone and email with suppliers, procurement agents, accounts payable personnel and requestors to verify and acquire necessary information needed to approve, set up supplier codes, and change names and addresses for suppliers. This candidate would provide assistance to customers, business partners, and employees as required, and would also work, according to policies and procedures, with other organizations, suppliers, or business partners to interpret requirements for requested services or to resolve problems as they arise. Candidate would also ensure the accuracy and security of sensitive financial records. Candidate must have the ability to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, pay attention to detail, and provide excellent customer service.
JOB SKILLS:
Candidate should demonstrate the following attributes: team player, ability to multi-task, attention to detail and accuracy, flexible, highly productive with little defect, good oral and verbal communication skills, aptitude for math and/or accounting.
Good overall PC skills including Microsoft Office products and positive attitude.
Candidate should work well independently and in a team environment: knowledge of accounting principles and accounting/bookkeeping skills are desirable.
Prefer an associates degree and 6 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
