We are currently seeking candidates to fill a new position involving the preparation of SEC / Investor financial reports and managing compliance with SEC regulations and the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley. In addition this position will serve as the subject matter expert on regulatory filings and assist with special projects as assigned by Controller.

TITLE: Vice President, Financial Reporting

LOCATION: Chicago, IL or Denver, CO

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparation of various SEC / Investor and internal financial reports including:
* SEC 1934 Act Reporting Calendar Compliance
* SEC 10-K Annual Report
* SEC 10-Q Quarterly Requirement
* SEC 8-K Reportable Events
* Audit Committee Report
* Compensation Committee Report
* D&O Questionnaires
* External Financial Statements
* Ad Hoc CEO and Board Financial Analysis

REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of 5 years experience in an SEC reporting function (10-K and 10-Q preparation and filing experience)
* Strong knowledge of technical Sarbanes-Oxley and US GAAP accounting rules
* Knowledge of corporate tax regulations preferred
* Combination of Big 4 Public Accounting and corporate accounting experience preferred
* Experience in accounting and disclosure requirements for M&A transactions preferred
* CPA preferred
* Knowledge of Great Plains and FRX financial reporting software preferred
* Excellent communication, presentation, technology, and analytical skills
* Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or business related area
