Our Client currently has a 6 month(+) contract role in Trevose, PA .  This role will be focused on the development of Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) for automation equipment. 

Essential Functions:

•          Design, development & validation of Graphical User Interface for embedded systems

•          Troubleshooting, resolving issues and enhancing existing applications designed using C/C++ & Java

•          Develop conceptual designs and detailed designs in accordance with established engineering processes, submit design code for reviews, update the designs as required as a result from reviews

•          Develops new technology relevant to the industry and T&D products and identifies ways to apply that technology in new products

•          Resolve field issues and quality issues through analysis and design changes

•          Creating required design documentation as per NPI Guidelines

Basic Qualifications:

•   BS or MS in engineering (i.e. Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering)  with 

•   5+  years  of  hands  on  experience  in  Design & Development of  embedded systems

•   5+ years experience  in Java Swing programming

•   3+ years experience in embedded Linux development 

•   2+ years experience  in C/C++ programming

•   2+ years experience in Common Gateway Interface (CGI) development

•   2+ years experience with XML

2+ years experience in XML schema development

Desired Characteristics:

•   2+ years experience with Ant, Spring, Castor, & J-goodies

•   2+ years experience with CVS code management tools

•   2+ years experience with Shell Scripting, Perl

•   Capacity of listening (end users), and synthesizing needs understanding in a multi-cultural environment

•   Organized, ability to multi-task and stay organized
