Financial Analyst II, Capital Expenditures


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS or related degree in Finance/Accounting

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a corporate or public accounting environment

  • Must have knowledge of GAAP and tax rules for capital

  • The individual must have strong oral and written communication skills to effectively deal with all levels of management and staff

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to organize and schedule multiple concurrent activities

  • Advanced PC skills and ability to implement and manage various software systems

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide analysis in the audit, recording, and budgeting of capital expenditures. Contribute to the preparation of Corporate and Internal capital expenditure reports. Maintain the Capital Expenditure Software database

  • Maintain, audit, record, and perform depreciation calculation. Periodically provides reporting to Corporate and Internal personnel in regards to the Fixed Asset database information

  • Contribute to the audit, recording, reporting, and reconciliation to corporate home office of the Banking and Inter-company account

  • Recording, monitoring, and reconciliation of Personal, Real, Sales, and Use Taxes

  • Under guidance from Financial Analyst III record, monitor, and report insurance information

  • May record and monitor company-owned vehicles and coordinate with Fleet Coordinators as needed

  • Support the Manager, Budget & Reporting, and where appropriate, others in management, with ongoing needs of the departments as they pertain to the above responsibilities and continuous improvement projects particularly with respect to the design and implementation of new programs procedures or reports; ensure the accuracy and completeness of data and compliance with good accounting practices
