We are currently recruiting for the following position to be located at our corporate headquarters in Belcamp, Maryland.

 

 

Financial Analyst

 

Introduction

Enterprise Data Protection division offers intelligent protection for data and communications throughout the organization and beyond.  Security breaches and upgraded compliance requirements in recent years have provided significant opportunities in the protection of data and infrastructure, leading to the creation of a multi-billion dollar market. 

 

Summary:

This role will ensure that essential business data is provided so that management is world-class and fully aligned with the strategic goals of the organization.  The role is designed to establish stronger financial performance through analysis, forecasting, and support of strategic development.  From a product perspective, the scope of the role covers the full breadth of the Commercial EDP Division.  Organizationally, the role is critical to the development of metrics, to optimize intra- and inter-department processes and procedures, including interactions with Engineering, Finance, Operations and Sales.

 

Qualification Requirements:

 

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting. 

Additionally, technical experience or education is highly desirable. 

 

Experience:

  • 3 years in financial analysis.  Experience in the field of security and encryption products and software or closely related field is preferable.

 

  • Demonstrated success in developing and analyzing business plans. 

 

  • Able to compile large amounts of data into clear, concise reporting and analysis. 

 

  • Strong MS Excel, written and verbal communication skills are a must. 

 

  • Familiarity with valuation, forecasting, go-to-market strategy strongly preferable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include, but are not limited, to, the following:

 

Data Interpretation and analysis: Working closely with finance and product management to compile, interpret and report on financial results, providing structured analysis to product and executive management.

 

Metrics: Work with management to determine measurable and meaningful metrics for how well the department is executing against its tactical guidelines and plans as well as its strategic goals.  

 

Tactical Analysis: Work directly with sales and product management to provide potential deal analysis, including maintenance of win/loss analyses.  Provide input toward pricing strategy.
