Financial Analyst

Responsibilities:

·         Develops integrated revenue and expense analyses, projections, reports and presentations.

·         Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

·         Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.

·         Drives process improvements in the Finance Department

·         Drives business goals, including cost reduction initiatives to ensure that they are adequately measured, managed and achieved.

·         Provides management with routine strategic tools, monitors and reports to drive the business results.

·         Implements best financial and accounting practices in all locations and benchmark external and internal operations.

·         Consults in a financial advisory capacity with the Management Team.

·         Successfully performs various monthly tasks within the Finance unit, including data analysis, reconciliations, journal entry preparation, quarterly US statuary financial statement preparation and analysis, process documentation, and special projects.

·         Prepares reconciliations and research out of balances by running queries, analyzing PeachTree accounts and communication with business contacts.

Requirements:

·         Familiarity with standard financial concepts, practices and procedures.

·         Strong knowledge of general ledger structure.

·         Ability to provide financial reports/analysis to Management Team.

·         Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Power Point.

·         Strong knowledge of PeachTree, preferred.

·         Strong analytical and planning skills.

·         Systemic approach to problem solving, strong business acumen.

·         Process improvement mindset.

·         Proven ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team environment, team player.

·         Very strong organizational and communication skills.

·         Self-directed, proactive, self-starter.

·         Professional demeanor.

·         BS degree with major in Accounting or Finance, a must.

·         At least 3 years Finance experience.
