Our finance department is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team! This position will be primarily responsible for supporting the operations finance function for our distribution center in the Louisville area facility in support of customization and embroidery operations and fulfillment planning, forecasting and reporting.
The Financial Analyst will also be responsible for the following:
-Responsible for maintaining and reporting financial information at the partner (client) and functional levels.
-Perform weekly variance and operational metrics reporting.
-Assist department heads in completing their annual plans, quarterly forecasts and various ad hoc reporting.
-Assist corporate finance in analyzing selected GL accounts and routine monthly closing activities.
-Providing operational support including analyzing efficiencies, helping develop operational standards, driving continuous improvement efforts with the customization business
-Respond to direct requests from Finance and other functional departments with timely and accurate information.
-Support activity-based cost accounting for fulfillment costs and operational metrics.
-Responsible for tracking and reconciling fulfillment activities with contractual agreements across all business partners.
-Assist in the development of allocation and profitability models to assess the profitability of different categories of the business.
-Compile and present competitive benchmarking analysis of financial results and comparable performance metrics.
-Responsible for providing input to the decision-making process affecting multiple partners and functional department heads.
-Interact on behalf of finance and fulfillment operations with various internal departments at various organizational levels.
Experience:
-B.S. in Finance or related field.
-1 to 4 years Finance experience
-Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
-Advanced system skills with Excel and Access.
-Possess strong interpersonal skills to quickly establish and maintain effective working relationships both within and outside the organization.
-Ability to identify areas of opportunities and to work independently.
Desirable Requirements:
-E-commerce and/or retail experience a plus.
-Experience in an operations facility (manufacturing and/or distribution services.
-Prior experience with E-time, PeopleSoft or AS-400.
-Prior experience with large, publicly traded companies.
-Masters degree in Finance or related field.
