Location: FL_Orlando Relocation Provided: No Relocation Offered Education Required: Bachelors Degree Experience Required: Not Indicated Position Description: CHEP USA Sales Finance Senior Financial Analyst / Orlando, FL
Position Purpose Provide analytical support for the Forecasting / Sector Support team within the assigned Finance function. Support revenue growth opportunities by using well-developed finance analysis and MIS skills. Utilize ROCI Model (Return on Capital Invested) to appropriately structure pricing proposals. Support the MBR; AGM Forecast; 2H Forecast and Budget processes. Strong interpersonal and proven communication skills needed - will regularly be involved in Senior Management discussions/presentations and decision-support. Will have the opportunity to significantly impact the business by layering in internal controls, develop forecasting and business analysis models, as well as supporting continuous process improvement in the forecasting and budgeting process.
Major/Key Accountabilities • Provide support to the sales field (On average ~4 directors and ~20 sales managers) through ROCI modeling and pricing analysis • Support all volume and revenue forecasting and budgeting • Support the Month End process and all activities associated with it – (close package submissions in Hyperion, reconciliations, causal analyses, etc.) • Develop Senior Management analysis and decision support • Review current operational/ financial processes and procedures to ensure that existing controls are adequate and being adhered to by the pricing team
Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance (R) • 3-6 year’s experience in finance or accounting – strong financial analysis skills required
Preferred Qualifications • MBA
Experience • Proven ability to identify, define and solve business problems • Proven experience with Financial systems as well as being very strong in financial modeling • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
Skills and Knowledge • Microsoft office applications (excel super user and access skills) • Proven experience with Business Warehouse (BW) • Strong analysis skills • Proven ability to apply Accounting and Finance principles to improving organizational effectiveness
