Overview

 

This position will be a key contributor to the Corporate Finance team at 2Wire providing financial planning, reporting & analysis for 2Wire senior management.  This Corporate Finance role will be responsible for several important functions: consolidating and analyzing variance analysis from all 2Wire business units, the preparation of a monthly financial report pack distributed to 2Wire’s executive staff, updating and publishing key corporate metrics, and contributing with the coordination of quarterly forecasts and annual plans.  Working closely with the Corporate Finance Manager, this Financial Analyst role will also be involved in cash flow forecasting, strategic planning, and competitive benchmarking on a regular basis. 

 

To be successful in this position, potential candidates must be confident in communicating with senior management, willing to ask questions to both internal Finance staff and external business partners, have strong organization skills, and be proactive and creative

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating month-close activities within the Finance division; including:
    • Consolidating and analyzing variances from all 2Wire business units
    • Preparing financial reports distributed to 2Wire's executive staff
    • Updating and publishing key corporate metrics
  • Coordinating quarterly forecasts and annual planning activities
  • Preparing financial summaries for quarterly business reviews and Board meetings
  • Updating and analyzing competitive benchmarks
  • Assist with the updating of cash flow forecasts and 2Wire's strategic plan
  • Document internal processes and procedures

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Business, or related field plus 1-3 years of related experience in a corporate environment
  • Working knowledge and experience with financial and accounting concepts; as well as, financial planning, reporting, analysis and modeling
  • Organizational skills including ability to manage time, priorities, and multiple tasks.
  • Ability to establish and follow written procedures with high degree of accuracy. Attention to detail is essential
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to operate independently as well as part of a team.  Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel
  • Prefer experience with SAP, Power Point, and/or Business Objects
