Financial Analyst / Portfolio Account Analyst

As the Financial Analyst / Portfolio Account Analyst, you will analyze, underwrite and manage international commercial finance transactions by performing the following duties and responsibilities:

·          Analyze financial statements and calculate key financial ratios to determine credit worthiness

·          Review collateral reporting, specifically Accounts Receivable and inventory reports, to determine collateralization position

·          Contact banks, trade and credit associations and others to obtain credit information

·          Prepare a detailed written credit memorandum and present suggested financing structure and credit limitations to management

·          Assist the Legal department with the documentation of new customer credit lines in accordance with the terms of credit approval

·          Manage existing loan portfolio to ensure compliance with the terms of credit approval; key functions include maintaining customer relationship by serving as the primary contact person, monitoring of collateral through weekly review of customer’s financial statements versus loan covenants and review of credit line for annual renewals

·          Interact with customers on performance of accounts

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree (minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale) in Business Administration or other discipline from an accredited college or university and have complete fluency (reading, writing and speaking) in English and Portuguese. Fluency in a third language (French, Spanish or German) a plus. Knowledge of MS Office software applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. At least 2 years of business experience and strong communication skills essential. Capability to start within the next 60 days is a must!
