Financial Analyst

The scope of this position is to provide support for financial management, budgeting, revenue forecasting and provide accurate and timely preparation of various monthly financial statements and management reports.  The individual must be able to analyze and provide commentary on various financial reports to help management steer business decisions.  Candidates must be experienced in financial analysis and also have an understanding of the accounting side.  This position is a “gate-way” position into financial leadership so solid communication skills are required. 

Senior Financial Analyst 

• Provide decision support through financial analysis, forecasting, reporting and data analysis.
  
• Gather, analyze and interpret data for complex financial projects/subjects such as planning, formulating and conducting financial studies to define performance plans for short and long range corporate business goals.
  
• Evaluate financial implications of specific business decisions/opportunities and advise management accordingly.
  
• Exercise judgment to determine appropriate course of action and prepare business recommendations based on sound financial analysis.
  
• Support annual business plan and/or strategic plan process by providing the financial management efforts to develop and implement more timely and consistent processes/systems to increase the efficiency of staff.
  
• Provides functional advice or training to less experienced financial analysts.
