Keane currently seeks a Financial Business Analyst to join our team in the Philadelphia, PA area. You will be part of our larger project team at the client site supporting various business initiatives within the financial investment area. Functional activities include: • Responsible for gathering and documenting requirements for the development team owning these requirements through development, testing, and implementation. • Research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems, batch processing, financial accounting, and aspects of investment management. • Create and execute test cases to validate that requirements are met and to validate that system changes haven't negatively impacted production systems. • Actively engage business representatives to interpret and finalize business requirements and to fully document specifications for the team. • Manage production issues and user requests and communicate status to business community. • Facilitate meetings, gains solid understanding of business concepts, and provide leadership to the team. • Create process flow diagrams. • Function as part of the overall development team and work closely with team members on a daily basis to ensure requirements are met. • Assist in testing activities to ensure deliverables are complete. Qualified candidates must have: • 5+ years as a Business Analyst with 2+ years of Financial Business Analyst responsibilities. • Prior Financial experience in Investment Management or other related areas. • Prior experience in developing and executing test plans / cases (Quality Assurance) • Prior experience as a Business Analyst and a good understanding of financial and technical concepts. • Prior experience in building business requirements / functional specifications. • Prior full life cycle experience on various development projects (SDLC). • Strong problem solving skills and ability to manage work requests and production issues. • Proficient with Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Excel) and Visio. This is a permanent position and would require you to live within a commutable distance to Philadelphia, PA. This is a full-time salaried position with Keane.
