SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union, doing business as OCTFCU since 1934 and is recognized as one of the most successful and superior credit unions is seeking a Financial Consultant to work in our Investment Division, located in branches in Orange County and Riverside County. This position will be responsible for providing excellent service to Members seeking information on alternative investment products offered through broker/dealer.

Successful candidates for this position will posses the following skills:

* Discusses financial investment alternatives with Members. Evaluates Member’s goals, risk tolerance and suggests appropriate investments.

* Schedules and conducts meetings with Members via phone and in person.

* Initiates Member investment selections and records transactions with broker/dealer.

* Offers financial review sessions for all Members at least annually.

* Ensures required compliance documents are completed.  Maintains regular contact with OSJ.

* Conducts financial planning seminars on various topics.

* Updates SchoolsFirst FCU team on products and services offered through the investment program.

* Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

* All teammembers must comply with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment related actions.

Education/Experience

* High School Diploma/GED Required

* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience

* Series 7 Securities License, Life & Disability Insurance License

* 3 - 5 years experience selling mutual funds, securities and insurance

License, Registration, and/or Certification Requirement

* Certifications or licenses including Series 7, 63, and 65 or 66. 

* California Insurance License required.

Candidates must be able to travel between Orange and Riverside County.
