We have an immediate need for a Financial Controller

JOB DESCRIPTION
Minimum qualification - Graduate Degree in Accounting and Finance, Business or equivalent
At least 3 years experience

Specific Competence in:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Strong emphasis on cash management and collections
- Responsible for overseeing all accounting systems and processes -
o Debtors reconciliations
o Creditors reconciliations
o Bank reconciliations
o Cash reconciliations
- Annual financial statements
- Tax returns
- Comply with IRS and other financial statutory regulations
- Prepare business projections - P&L, cash flow and balance sheets

Specific Desire to:
- Learn on the job and take responsibility for detail
- Multi tasking using latest accounting software and tools
- Clear communication in English, written, oral face to face and by telephone

Specific Requirements:
- Accounting qualifications recognized in the USA and US experience ideally in industrial or commercial environment
- Attention to detail
- Experience in using Quickbooks, Quicken and Sage
- Ability to undertake financial analysis and financial modeling
- Clear communication in English, written, oral face to face and by telephone

Role will include
- Responsibility for the accounting function of Power Patriots
- Preparation of Management and Statutory accounts
- Preparation of reports and information required for Tax returns
- Preparation and presentation of financial reports required by Management and Investors
- Working with Executive PA who will assist with data entry and bookkeeping

Special Projects
- Development of internal management systems or other special projects from time to time
