Position Description

Financial Counselor

- Conducts student financial interviews to explain tuition payment options.
- Facilitates student finance intake process and verifies financial documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintains student financial profiles and performs research.
- May prepare deposit and cash posting transactions.
- May coordinate direct billing programs.
- Student accounts, database, and file maintenance.
- May maintain student financial aid accounts via calculations, processing refunds, applying funds and updating accounts.
- Coordinates the collection of past due accounts and delinquent balances.
