Financial Data Analyst
The role of the Financial Data Analyst is to provide reporting assistance to the Finance Department. The Financial Data Analysts provides Standard and Ad Hoc reports as requested. The Financial Data Analysis will spend time working independently and as part of a team and will focus on specific deadlines as well as exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:

·         Prepares monthly invoices for assigned clients, timely and accurately.

·         Directly escalates anomalies or unusual observations.

·         Produces work that reflects a focus on quality in consideration of the client’s (internal and external) needs and qualitative self-review process.

·         Produces, validates and delivers regularly scheduled reports on a timely basis.

·         Prepares documentation defining monthly reports produced for assigned clients.

·         Produces accurate and meaningful ad hoc reports from verbal and written requests.

·         Actively promotes and participates in process improvements.

·         Develops a solid understanding of Business Objects measures and develops into a Business Objects Power user.

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree

·         Must be an intermediate to expert Excel user. Should understand how to use pivot tables, vlookup commands, macros and be able to incorporate basic formatting commands into a report.

·         Must have solid experience using OLAP tools to create reports. Must understand relational database structures and be able to work with very large databases.

·         Business Objects.
