About the Job
Leading bank in the Stamford CT area is opening its doors for a senior level associate in the front office financial planning & analysis area.
This position will focus on Capital Markets including derivatives, debt, foreign exchange, commodities, and equities.
Responsibilities:
- Producing budgets, forecasts, and management reporting
- Developing forecast models integrating revenue, cost, profit, margin and expense analyses into reports
- Presenting recommendations on market share analysis
- Produce month end reports and conduct P&L analysis
- Work with top management of Corporate Finance on special projects
- Managing risks and opportunities and developing strategic plans, performance metrics, reporting tools and analytical processes to assist senior management in their decision-making process
Skills / Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years in a large environment within a Financial Services organization. Advanced Microsoft Excel & Power Point is required. A solid foundation and understanding of accounting issues is highly desired. Bachelors degree required, and MBA/CPA is a plus. This is a very hands-on role and candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment and possess a strong attention to detail.
