We are looking for a qualified individual to join our Arlington, Texas office as a Financial Planning Consultant. Working in a support role with our Wealth Integration Advisors, the Financial Planning Consultant will:
- Examine client financial statements, legal documents, client profile questionnaires, and the Wealth Integration Advisor's observations to understand the client's overall picture of their wealth and objectives.
- Analyze client's current planning, and determine weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop presentations with recommendations for the Advisor to present to the client.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree desirable.
- Financial Services industry experience desirable.
- Industry certifications (such as CFP®, CLU, ChFC) desirable
- Technical knowledge of planning concepts in areas of estate planning, retirement planning, business continuity planning, insurance planning, income/transfer tax planning.
- Initiative - self motivated individual.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
- Self confidence - ability to interact with Wealth Advisors and other professionals such as attorneys, accountants, trust officers, etc.
- Professional appearance.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and client management software).
