We are looking for a financial project manager, who manages Billing, Reimbursement, System function and all personnel related to coding and reimbursement. Develops policies and procedures to ensure the timely resolution of patient services and third party reimbursement issues to foster an environment of total customer responsiveness. Develops and implements changes to customer service programs in accordance with changes in insurance regulations and information obtained from various sources. Serves as liaison to all Division of Medicine Departments and Physicians regarding various technical coding issues.

Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related area or equivalent experience. Comprehensive knowledge of Patient Accounts Management System, to include account receivables, collections, billing, third party reimbursement, cash application, denial database and coding. Strong managerial and supervisory skills sufficient to manage and administer multiple functions. Extensive CPT-4 and ICD-9 CM experience. Must have demonstrated leadership skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills, PC skills and must be proficient with spreadsheets (Excel) and word processing applications. Three year's experience with CPT/ICD professional coding, medical billing and reimbursement. Certification as Professional coder through American Academy of Professional Coders required. Manual dexterity to operate office equipment. Ability to lift and transport up to 15 pounds. May require extended periods of standing, walking or sitting. Good visual acuity through normal or corrected vision.
