Position Description:

1. Financial Reporting Responsibilities include:
a. Prepare period end consolidating entries
b. Perform analysis on certain accounts including fixed assets, foreign exchange, and intercompany transaction accounts.
c. Assist in preparing management reports including financial statements, capital expenditures, sales destination, and foreign exchange reports.
d. Prepare US Government quarterly reports
e. Be a resource for regional accountants, to help resolve their accounting / system issues

2. Internal Controls Responsibilities include:
a. Track the status of internal control deficiencies
b. Verify the completion of corrective action plans
c. Prepare management and board reports

3. Financial System Responsibilities Include:
a. Manage the functional currency determination process for new entities
b. Manage the opening and closing of new entities, cost centers and accounts
c. Monitor the proper closure of accounting periods within the system


Position Requirements:

1. BS in Accounting
2. Certified Public Accountant preferred
3. 6-8 years related accounting and/or financial analysis experience
4. Experience with Hyperion Financial Management, Oracle, and/or MXP Accounting Software preferred
5. Familiar with Foreign Exchange issues
6. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills required
7. Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required
8. Ability to multi-task and have a desire to learn new systems required
9. Must be flexible, able to work independently, and adaptable to change
