Financial Risk Management Programmer
Do you have a passion for solving complex business problems? KPMG’s Advisory Services Practice focuses on fundamental business issues — managing risk, increasing revenues, controlling costs — that organizations, across various industries, should address in order to help them flourish. We are currently seeking a Financial Risk Management Programmer to join us in our Tyson’s Corner office. Financial Risk Management (FRM) professionals help management and boards of directors to identify, measure, and monitor financial and business risks, the relationships between risks and returns, and the control environment over the management and reporting of these risks. In the very complex world of financial instruments, FRM professionals have assisted in valuation approaches, stress testing, model development and risk rating, and measurement approaches to help management leverage the leading practices in risk identification and measurement. FRM’s Insurance Risk segment can assist clients in defining tolerance for financial and capital, risk management, and risk financing. KPMG helps clients identify processes and manage risk as well as understand and implement cost optimization strategies in order to improve risk management processes overall. Responsibilities: • Develop, enhance, and maintain existing C# application on the .Net Framework. • Assist in the re-architecture of existing applications Qualifications: • BA or BS degree in Computer Science or MIS from an accredited university/college • One year of IT work experience • One year professional development experience using the .Net Framework(C# or VB.Net), SQLServer or Oracle experience required • Familiarity with Object Oriented Methodology • Experience with AJAX, Crystal Reports • Excellent communication and client service skills KPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
