Job Title:   Financial Services / Information Technology (IT) Program Manager

EADS North America Defense Security and System Solutions (EADS NA DS3) is seeking a full-time Financial Services Program Manager to lead its IT Enterprise business effort supporting an important Financial Services Program (FSP). The program requires a focused approach that consistently delivers innovative IT solutions. The FSP provides such financial products and services as: accounting, audit recovery, financial consulting, payroll, medical claims, vendor payments, travel, purchase cards, reconciliation solutions, and document management; with a high volume of time-sensitive transactions.  The selected candidate must have a thorough understanding of both financial services processes and functions as well as all aspects of IT to effectively lead this effort. The IT processes and functions include Network Administration, Database Development and Administration, Help Desk Support, Application Support and Maintenance, IT Administrative Services, Legacy Production Support and Administration. EADS NA DS3 provides a wide range of IT Enterprise Support Services; and deploys tailored products and service solutions to support unique and evolving requirements.

Purpose: This position is responsible for project management and direct leadership of a 50+ person team supporting an IT Services and Support contract under a FSP. The selected candidate will act as the liaison between FSP partners and EADS NA DS3 leadership This candidate will proactively ensure that the FSP achieves its goals and objectives though innovative IT solutions that delivers 100% Accuracy and 100% On-Time for the FSP.

Primary Responsibilities:  The following examples provide a general summary of the work required and should not be treated as a total and complete list of expected duties to be performed by employees.

• Partner with all business managers to aggressively understand their requirements and develop tailored solutions
• Maintain and deliver a comprehensive project schedule
• Develop a communication / action plan to support the requirements identified in the statement of work
• Manages the roll out of IT Enterprise support to FSP in coordination with business partners, EADS NA DS3 team members and its partners
• Manages all aspects of FSP current IT operations as well as  implementation of new projects
• Responsible for meeting stringent performance standards to serve the customer and its mission 
• Participates in developing and deploying solutions that meet current / future standards
• Maintains awareness of the latest developments in financial services industry, especially those that focus on the products and services offered under the FSP
• Assists FSP partners and local leadership to resolve customer service issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Performs other duties as required

Direction and Decision Making: The Financial Services/IT Program Manager must be able to work with a high degree of independence, must be able to effectively represent to company and customer leadership. and must be able to exercise high degree of judgment on a range of complex issues.  The candidate will consult with company and customer leadership to ensure decisions are consistent with the contract scope and the customer’s vision.

Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelors degree in accounting,  business administration, economics, or related field, Masters degree preferred; at least five (5) years of experience in financial services. A broad understanding of IT solutions such as Network Administration, Database Development and Administration, Desktop/Help Desk Support, Application Support and Maintenance, IT Administrative Services, Production Support and Services. Proven ability to develop and manage large complex projects. Experience working in a matrix environment.  Selected candidate must be able to pass an extensive background evaluation. • Skilled in the use of personal computer and associated software to manage project activities and prepare reports
