Description of Opportunity: Financial Services professionals assess and determine the financial needs of DIA as a global organization focused on supporting the nation’s freedom. They evaluate the costs of conducting operations, identify cost efficiencies and properly allocate resources. They review and address current trends to advise on expected outcomes. They develop, coordinate and maintain an integrated system of financial services and are responsible for accounting, program and budget formulation, cost analysis, and financial management administration. Financial Services specialists also conduct systematic examinations and appraisals of financial records and management controls and provide financial management advice as needed.

Financial Fellowship Opportunity--Financial Management Leadership Program
Only high-performing college graduates with bachelor’s or master’s degrees in the fields of business administration, finance and accounting or a related analytical field from an accredited institution will qualify for DIA’s Financial Management Leadership Program. A minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and for those selected, a three-year probationary training period, are required.
These select, entry-level positions allow Financial Fellows to sharpen their skills and gain experience by working in DIA’s program development and evaluation areas, and in DIA’s budget, accounting and finance offices over the three-year probationary period. Fellows may also be assigned special projects to further advance their skills.
