Description of Ideal Candidates:
  • Market Junkies. You actively follow financial markets, financial news, and can easily name 2-3 stories at a maximum that you've recently read. You'd love to talk about opinions on global markets, trading strategies, and current world affairs.
  • Career Minded. You are interested in starting a long-term career with FXCM and within finance and (most importantly) you are able to articulate how FXCM fits in your long-term plans.
  • Entry-level Applicant. You have 0-3 years of professional experience in a full-time position and have a genuine interest in working your way up.

Key responsibilities include (not limited to):

  • Provide our clients with best-in-class service on phone, chats, and email
  • Intelligently articulate financial and market-related concepts
  • Go beyond “customer service.” Skillfully probe for, listen, and understand client needs to provide resources and solutions to improve clients’ trading experience and results
  • Mediate difficult situations, conversations and customers with composure and resolve
  • Consistently take initiative to learn about the markets, FX industry and new FXCM platforms and products such as the FXCM Trading Station, Meta Trader 4, or the latest iPad release
  • Be a team player and proactively collaborate with the Financial Services Team to manage time, resources, volume, and customer feedback
  • Consistently achieve specific deposit, retention, and customer satisfaction benchmarks
  • Act upon constructive criticism to improve on-desk client conversations and to build on personal and department-wide performance figures

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must be eligible to work in the USA (No H1 Visa Sponsorship)
  • Must be willing to work 12pm-9pm PDT or as shift needs change
  • Must have strong communication verbal and written
  • Follow global market trends and events and effectively discuss news releases and trade setups
  • Ability to navigate basic and advanced mathematical examples with proficiency and accuracy
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, but are not required (Arabic, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Chinese)
  • Bachelor degree, with a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Must obtain Series 3 and Series 34 licenses within 90 days of hire: full training will be provided and cost is covered by company
  • Strong MS Office skills
