PRIMARY PURPOSE: To calculate employee benefit overpayments; and to obtain reimbursements from overpaid disability and worker's compensation cases.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures compliance with established recovery procedures and standards. Maintains quality control. Conducts periodic file reviews of team members' files. Provides payroll administration services for claimants receiving payments from outside of company systems. Coordinates recovery activity on assigned cases. Refers cases to collection agencies as applicable. Notifies employees verbally and in writing of claim overpayments. Responsible for manual calculations of employee benefit overpayments. Maintains a quality assurance program to support the Total Performance Management initiative and the consistent delivery of quality claims service. QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Licensing:
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Licenses as required.
Experience:
Two (2) years of claims management required. Financial experience preferred.
