Financial Systems Analyst/Developer

About the Job

This top international firm has a great opportunity for a seasoned Sr. Financial Systems Analyst/Developer

 

The individual in this position will be responsible for managing new project assignments as requested and prioritized by the manager of Financial Systems, including project management, development, training, testing, and documenting all aspects of assigned tasks.  Another primary involvement will be with Financial Applications development in Business Intelligence (BI) space.  As a Sr. member of the Financial systems group, this person will be responsible for development and analysis of reporting solutions for the firm during 3E implementation and other development and upgrade projects, including development of transactional and multidimensional reports for finance users, attorneys and management.  One of the primary goals of this position is to develop consistent financial reporting framework utilizing new technologies and legacy applications.

 

Specific Skills & Educational Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate results to a demanding financial user evnironment
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • In-depth technical financial analysis skills, including data consolidation
  • Strong understanding of general accounting and finance principals
  • Ability to work with business users and transform business requirements into technical specs
  • Relational DB programming experience, preferably SQL
  • 3 or more years of experience using T/SQL or PL/SQL
  • 3 or more years of application development experience in OLAP BI environment
  • 3 or more years of experience in administering Hyperion Essbase or MS Analysis Services applications
  • 2 or more years of experience in administering budgeting software, preferably Clarity 6
  • Minimum of 4 years college education
