Job Description:
Will actively partner with senior staff to develop and maintain analytics and reporting that will support the rapid growth of the company and the advancement of our development pipeline.  Will manage the daily operations of our financial planning tool, Outlooksoft (OLS), and our FTE tracking system.  Will be responsible for ensuring data integrity and compliance within both systems.  Processes supported by this role include our month end close, financial planning processes, financial reporting initiative, FTE tracking system and FTE reporting.  The person will be responsible for managing and enhancing the clear, consistent flow of information across our finance systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Actively partner with senior staff from the within Finance and Accounting on:

• Daily maintaining of financial planning tool, OutlookSoft (OLS)


• Daily maintaining of FTE tracking system


• Develop reporting, metrics, and benchmarks to guide appropriate reporting to our department managers, project teams, and executive team members


• Establish and maintain a library of input templates and reports to support our financial and strategic planning processes.


• Working with Finance, Accounting, and IT to build and maintain a process map of data flow within our financial systems


• Assist in preparation of our monthly executive reporting


• Assist in preparation of our monthly line function and program reporting

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or Accounting and 4+ years of relevant work experience. Leadership attributes and demonstrated ability to work with more senior staff.  Demonstrated strong analytical skills; ability to understand, trouble shoot, process map, and efficiently explain complex financial systems.  Prior working knowledge of a major ERP (Oracle) and financial planning tool (SAP/Outlooksoft, Cognos, Hyperion) a must.  Independent worker with demonstrated ability and willingness to take on new projects and work with teams.

Familiarity or experience with pharmaceutical research and development process a plus, but not required.  Flexibility to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
