Position Description:
Financial Systems Support Analyst Grade 1078 Individual Contributor 3 - Bus Systems Analyst 3
Manager - Larry Minter The Corporate Financial Systems group has an opening for a Business Analyst in the system administration, communication, and support area.
Responsibilities include: - System administration and support for financial transaction process in SAP R/3 (ECC) Finance (FI/CO) and related modules (SD, MM, etc.) - Ongoing end user support and training - Coordination of system maintenance efforts and problem solving/resolution plans for key system problems - Manage user acceptance testing with business users for enhancement and system updates - Manage communication related to system status to all areas impacted - Manage system enhancement requests: set priorities, define requirements, manage efforts with business and IT - Participate in system projects that effect this area and future plans for deployment of related products (e.g. ECC 6.0) - Define process and drive ongoing improvement in this area
Candidate must be able to function in a fast paced, dynamic, global environment and capable of balancing multiple priorities most of which are deadline driven. Position works closely with IT (IS&T), different Finance groups globally, and other functional areas within Apple. A solid knowledge or background in financial transactions and related reporting is desired. Candidate must have excellent technical, analytical, and communications skills, and experience working with cross-functional teams. Solid business judgement including fact-based and data-driven decision making is critical.
Requirements: - BA or BS degree plus 3 - 6 years related work experience - Major in Accounting, Finance, Business or demonstrated comparable work experience - Understanding of key finance and business concepts - Experience working with SAP R/3 (ECC) financials - Knowledge of project management processes - Experience with web design (HTML, Dreamweaver, etc.) a plus - Knowledge of Apple's business processes and enterprise system landscape would be beneficial
