First/Second Shift Chemical Packagers
Chemical Packaging Experience

FIRST SHIFT: 7:00am to 3:30pm
SECOND SHIFT: 4:00pm to 12midnight

A world leader in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry has a Temp-to-Hire position available for Chemical Packagers to work the First and/or Second Shift.

The Chemical Packager:


  • Performs weighing, filling, labeling, sealing and other packaging operations as well as general warehouse duties relating to packaging materials, such as unloading bottle trucks and keeping packaging materials in order.
  • Completes necessary information for recordkeeping.
  • Transports bulk material, bottles, caps and supplies to filling location(s).
  • Transports packaging goods to the warehouse.
  • Sets up scale, checks bottle size and sets up containers to be filled.
  • Sees that all specifications and special instructions are followed on the job card or instruction cards.
  • Performs necessary quality checks.
  • Checks materials to see that they are correct.
  • Is responsible for:


    • Working safely and for producing quality products.
    • Maintaining assigned equipment clean and in good condition.


  • Will perform all other duties as may apply to the existing job description.

This is a Contract to Direct Hire position, through Volt Workforce Solutions - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, based in Woodbridge, NJ. Requirements:

Required Skills for First/Second Shift Chemical Packagers include the following:


  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Pass drug screen and background check
  • Previous chemical packaging experience
