Fish & Wildlife Officer
The Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida Fish and Wildlife Department is accepting applications for Wildlife Law Enforcement Officers. All applicants must be in good health, be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Applicants must be able to work rotating shifts (including nights and holidays). High school education required but college degree preferred. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions in remote parts of the Florida Everglades using airboats and ATVs. Applied knowledge of Florida ecosystem (hunting, fishing, etc.) preferred. Equally skilled working as part of a team and independently. Must be currently certified as a Police Officer through the FDLE. Job site: Miccosukee Indian Reservation - located 25 miles WEST of the Florida Turnpike on SW 8th Street aka Tamiami Trail, Miami-Dade County.
