Fixed Assets Staff Accountant  Job Description:

We are currently in need of a Fixed Assets Staff Accountant. This is a contract position with the potential to go permanent Candidates will maintain fixed asset daily transactions such as additions, retirements, transfers and adjustments for capital assets. Perform detailed research on project capital spending and prepare the capitalization package. Ensure the adherence to company policies in respect of depreciation and capitalization of assets. Perform fixed asset related adjustments to general ledger. Reconcile sub-ledger with the general ledger. Ensure that the appropriate authorizations for capital expenditures are documented and maintained. Support internal and external auditing. Participate in month-end and year-end system close. Qualified applicants will be contacted within 24hrs and need to be available to interview immediately.
