Currently seeking a Flash Programmer/Developer in Tampa, FL for Bisk Education! Bisk Education is a rapidly growing company which facilitates the promotion and online delivery of degree and certificate programs from the nation’s leading traditional universities.
Position Summary:
The Flash Programmer/Developer builds animations, UI elements and interactive modules in Flash for our internal and external clients. This position requires an eye for visual design and layout. The ideal candidate considers UI design a matter of principle.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creates new interfaces, navigational and design elements used in multimedia projects and interactive exercises
- Prototypes new forms of presenting educational content and interactive exercises
- Designs, develops, tests and deploys new micro sites, interactive exercises for both internal and external clients
- Research and develop new ways to automate repetitive task within the Interactive Media Team
- Assists in the development of Learning Module Player 2.0 written in ActionScript 3.0
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- 5-7 years master level experience using ActionScript 3.0 and Object Orient Programming with ActionScript is essential
- Experience with Design Patterns and MVC is required
- Appreciation for elegant code and a programmer’s approach to ActionScript development
- Experience optimizing ActionScript code
- Experience working with multiple developers and sharing classes across various project
- Experience with Data I/O connectivity to learning management system from Flash
- Experience in Adobe CS4 or CS5 Web Premium
- HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS3, skills are a plus for future projects
- Experience in the domain of E-learning a plus but not required
- Experience with Flex, C#, and .NET a plus but not required
Education Required:
Bachelor degree preferred
