Flash Developer/Web Developer

About the Job

Flash Developer, Web Developer

 

Lead ongoing internet product development.  Candidate will be responsible for facilitating product introduction with the use of web and Flash technologies.

 

Candidate will be responsible for organizing and project managing efforts throughout the product development cycle, including maintaining communications between various internal and external resources including: design, internal and external development teams, communicating status of products/projects and enhancements to all stakeholders and managing thorough testing ensuring high quality results.  Additionally, candidate will manage ongoing maintance to the site(s), including communicating problems or errors to the development, performing any testing associated with maintenance.

 

Major Requirements:

 

Ø  Detail oriented, well organized, able to thrive in deadline driven environment while working on a number of projects simultaneously

Ø  Good written and oral communication skills

Ø  Experience with quality assurance testing

Ø  Extensive experience with consumer-facing Web sites

Ø  Understanding of online advertising a plus

 

Technical Requirements:

 

Ø  Demonstrated ability to program complex Flash applications on new and existing projects

Ø  Understanding of web development best practices

Ø  Hands programming of XHTML/DHTML/CSS/ Javascript/ Actionscript

Ø  Backend CMS development experience.  Ruby on Rails a plus, but not necessary. 

Ø  Familiarity with User Interface design and social media a plus

Ø  Experience with vendor integration and management
