Flex Team Representative

MarketStar’s Flex Team currently has opportunities available in various markets for part time representatives who will focus on training and driving sales for various manufacturers at selected retail outlet locations.

The ideal candidates will have knowledge in the consumer electronics or telecom industry, desire a job with flexible hours and schedules and be willing to work weekends. Reliable transportation and Internet access is required.

This is a project based position, but year round work is available.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Achieve sales goal as set forth by Clients and MarketStar management, and educate customers on client products/services
• Educate and train store personnel on client products and programs, and apply expert product knowledge
• Build productive relationships with assigned store management and personnel
• Responsible to effectively complete assigned reporting functions

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school graduate or equivalent. Some college coursework highly preferred
• Minimum of six months of previous retail sales at a technology based retailer
• Previous sales experience in the consumer electronics, telecom or IT industry.
• Working knowledge of PC, Home Theater or wireless phone technologies
• Ability to learn quickly
• Self-reliant, adaptable, decisive, and professional
• Sound time management and organizational
• Ability to work weekends is required
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced interpersonal skills
