Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Benefit Coordinator

This position is located in Iowa City, Iowa.
 
In this role, the Account Coordinator will be responsible for performing certain administrative functions for client sponsored Flexible Spending Plans. Some of the primary responsibilities include: posting participant contributions, account reconciliation, providing professional telephone customer service, creating written correspondence for employer contacts, participating employees, and brokers. 

  • Provide professional telephone customer service to participants, client contacts & sales executives, meeting expected company and client standards

  • Post participant contributions and balance client accounts

  • Verify & process changes from reports timely & accurately

  • Handle difficult calls and diffuse problems

  • Process daily customer requests, updating system records & documenting action taken.  Follow through with customer as necessary.


Qualified candidates will have prior experience in customer service and/or employee benefits administration.  Must have proficiency with email, spreadsheets (Excel) and MS Office.  Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment.  Ability to work independently and on a team.  Excellent interpersonal skills; strong written and verbal communications skills required.
