Summary: Under supervision of Director of Finance, monitors inventory, purchases, cost and revenue sales relating to the Food & Beverage operations at the Shreveport Convention Center and Shreveport Municipal Auditorium.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for processing all invoices for concessions and catering

Implement and maintain internal controls and procedures

Analyze all data and report to building management

Responsible for accurate cost tracking including inventory
-
Prepare flash reports and event P&L’s

Work and reviews with Food & Beverage staff relating to inventory, concessions, beverage consumption and costs. Verifies cashier settlements and bar balances.

Prepare and analyze information for financial statements and reports
-
Verify and check the accuracy of general ledger coding relating to F&B inventory

Prepare various sales reports and operational reports as required by Director of Finance

Ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed

Participate in monthly inventory

Other finance/accounting related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
B.S. in Accounting required with a minimum 2 years accounting experience required.
Prefer but not required prior experience in a Food & Beverage environment.
Working Conditions: Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours. Physical requirements of walking, lifting and standing.
