The DNV Business Assurance – North America F&B division of Det Norske Veritas (DNV) has an immediate need for highly motivated and skilled individuals to join the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector service team in North America.  This position reports to the Director of F&B Services - DNV Business Assurance - North America.

***NOTE:  This position can be based out of any major US city. ***

Major Responsibilities:

·         Performs 3^rd party F&B GFSI benchmarked Audits (SQF, BRC, IFS, FSSC22000) for North America F&B customers

·         Performs 2^nd party F&B quality and/or safety audits/assessments on behalf of customers and their suppliers

·         Provide GFSI Auditor and Foundation Training as required

·         Provide customers with timely, complete and accurate reports of their current level of F&B quality and/or safety compliance or implementation

·         Provide timely and accurate reviews of customer corrective action and closure

·         Maintain schedule of audit activity with customers

·         Maintains appropriate audit credentials and pursues advancement of those credentials and other related credentials as needed

Major Requirements:

·         Bachelors in Food Science/Chemistry/related field

·         5+ years of F&B industry/retail experience

·         Holds current HACCP and/or other food safety credential

·         Holds one or more current SQF/BRC/IFS or ISO22000 auditor certifications

·         1+ year of mainframe business software systems experience

·         MS Project; Excel; Word; and PowerPoint expertise

·         Presentation skills and expertise

·         Must be able to travel up to 80%

Preferred requirements:

·         2+ years working in a ISO 9001 certified company with management responsibilities related to the implementation; operation and improvement of that QMS

·         5+ years of F&B 2^nd or 3^rd party auditing experience with a minimum of 5 F&B audits/assessments over the previous last 12 months

·         Holds a current IRCA and/or RAB-QSA Lead Auditor certification for 9001 and/or 22000 – IRCA/RAB-QSA for 14001 standard

·         Work experience in Packaging industry
