Selrico is currently seeking a Food Service Program Manager for our contract with the Texas Youth Commission. There are three sites; Beaumont, TX, Mart, TX and Vernon, TX.

This position requires a person experienced in high volume food service or cafeteria type restaurants. Qualified candidates should possess both front and back of house experience and understand menus, ordering, inventory, scheduling, cost analysis, payroll and P&L.

Work Responsibilities:

Work responsibilities include managing the successful operation of the juvenile correctional facilities listed above. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  Manage operations of 3 remote sites; juvenile correctional facilities. Travel required.

  Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports in a timely manner.
  
  
• 
  
  Have thorough working knowledge of Child Nutrition Program (“CNP”) and apply at sites, as well as make changes to menus.
  
  
• 
  
  Update and manage corporate work management report.
  
  
• 
  
  Coach and counsel subordinate Site Managers.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualified applicants should possess:

  Seven to ten years of food service experience in a comprehensive commercial, industrial, military, or institutional food service operation.
  
  
• 
  
  A documented history of advancement and goal achievement.
  
  
• 
  
  The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  
  
• 
  
  National School Lunch Program and experience!
  
  
• 
  
  Computer literate at an intermediate to advanced level with Microsoft Word & Excel.
