We are now hiring for the Direct Operations at our Reynoldsburg Campus. These shifts are scheduled as 4-10 hour shifts. We have PM Weekday, AM Weekend and PM Weekend openings.
Applicants are required to answer all questions in the on-line application and complete work history for the past 3 positions held.
A Merchandise Processor is responsible for processing various types of merchandise for the Distribution Center by utilizing standard operating procedures for designated brands.
Must possess the ability to:
Count and distribute predetermined amounts of merchandise items to store at specific destinations
Process rework and audit merchandise by counting, ticketing, packing and sorting
Operate Warehouse Management System, radio frequency scanners, and other equipment needed to perform job duties
Track information to facilitate flow of merchandise
Inspect merchandise items to ensure proper quality and brand specification
Utilize math skills to verify qualities, make adjustments, fill out worksheets and complete order paperwork correctly
Typically reports to DC Supervisor, no direct reports.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in a distribution center environment helpful
Must maintain flexibility regarding job assignments, including with other departments and brands, as well as regarding working mandatory overtime
Solid attention to detail, ability to follow directions and apply problem-solving skills while processing
Must be a team player and able to work well with others
Ability to stand and lift continuously for long periods of time, which can be up to 10 hours a day
Ability to identify product and match numbers
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. or more continuously during working hours; lifting may be above or below shoulder level
Ability to push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel, stoop on a repetitive basis
Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination and required manual dexterity to include grasping and holding
Ability to function at high levels, if required
