Billing Coordinator duties include but are not limited to:
▪ processing required billing
▪ collection of insurance and self-pay accounts
▪ processing data entry
▪ correspondence follow-up
▪ back-up for answering telephone lines
Front Desk Receptionist duties include but are not limited to:
▪ patient check in / check out
▪ insurance verification and patient communication
▪ scheduling patients for various cath lab procedures
▪ ongoing communication with physician offices and cath lab staff
▪ answering telephone lines
For both positions, qualifications include:
▪ excellent communication, organizational, computer and clerical skills
▪ experience working with medical records
▪ ability to work alongside all levels of staff
▪ ability to communicate effectively with patients, insurance agencies/representative and other related personnel
▪ knowledge of Medicare / Managed Care, EOB’s and medical terminology
▪ good problem solving skills with ability to calculate figures and amounts
▪ at least three years medical practice experience preferred
