Our Client has an immediate opening for a contract web developer with well-rounded "front-end" web capabilities. This role encompasses all technologies that are considered public-facing (i.e. HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, PERL/CGI, XML/XSLT, Flash, and Java Server Pages JSP.). This is a 3-4 month contract opportunity. 

Essential Responsibilities: 


* Create or edit HTML/CSS templates to be used by technical staff to create dynamic websites 
* Design and generate front-end code to display consistently across a myriad of browser/platform combinations 

Requirements: 
* Minimum 5 years experience in front-end development 
* Required core technologies - HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, PERL/CGI, XML/XSLT, Flash, and Java Server Pages JSP. 
* Experience with Java Server Pages (JSP) and other server-side scripting languages such as Perl. 
* Expert proficiency in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) including experience building out "tableless" designs using CSS only 
* Experience working with extended teams - graphic designers, information architects, and developers 
* Proficient in Photoshop (graphic optimization, etc.)
