Purpose: Serves patients by greeting and assisting with their needs, questions or concerns; scheduling appointments; maintaining accounts.
Duties:
Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting in person or on the telephone.
Schedules appointments for patients on telephone or in person.
Maintains accounts by accurately entering personal and financial information upon patient arrival.
Maintains reception area.
Open and distribute mail.
Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
Maintains operations by following policies and procedures.
