Summary
Individual will support the
development of company’s E-Learning/WBT initiative for its International
offices; this includes training material (creating objectives, syllabus, lesson
plans); produce training material and conduct occasional on-site training at
International offices.
The successful candidate must be
able to collaborate effectively with business and technology partners to improve
course material, manage and work in a team environment or independently without
direct supervision. The successful E-Learning Trainer will have outstanding
communication (English and Spanish) skills as well as being personable and
comfortable speaking with all levels of audiences. Individual must have the
ability to execute a design following storyboards and using authoring tools to
incorporate media and must bring creativity and imagination to ensure the
acceptance of the company’s E-Learning initiative.
Responsibilities:
Develop dynamic, interactive, and user-engaging
computer-based training (WBT/CBT) courses from customer provided course
content and materials
Include a combination of text, graphics, photos,
and video clips into work being developed
Design and develop course-based training
frameworks to support multiple modules
Translate technical requirements to help frame a
solution that meets all expectations
Communicates and escalates complex technical
issues to internal staff if needed
Ability to present technical subject matter in
understandable terms to a broad spectrum of the audience’s technical
expertise
Proficient with : Adobe, Dreamweaver, Photoshop,
Illustrator, Flash and PowerPoint
Experience with working with users to develop
training programs.
Qualifications:
Independent worker; exceptional written and
verbal communication skills, and excellent presentation, interpersonal skills;
ability to learn technical concepts
BA/BS degree, Computer Science, Engineering or
Education or certification as Technical Trainer
Must be proficient with M.S. Office (Word,
Excel, and PowerPoint), Internet, and MS Outlook e-mail.
Be able to effectively manage several projects
simultaneously with strict adherence to deadlines
Must have strong analytical skills as the job
requires daily proofreading and editing
Great attention to detail and accuracy and pride
and ownership in work
Strong writing skills
Flexible, willing to take on more
responsibilities as needed, and devote time necessary to complete
deadlines
Solid organizational skills with the ability to
multi-task
Must be bi-lingual Spanish/English - Read, Write,
Speak.
