Seeking an experienced Manager to be responsible for all areas of our multi-facility Distribution Department. Activities within this department include receiving product, inventory management and storage, kitting & assembly, packaging and shipping, and returns processing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop distribution objectives and strategies in line with organizational direction through analysis and recommendations.

• Establish distribution operational strategies that will maximize work flow efficiencies by evaluating distribution trends; establishing critical measurements; and determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies.

• Develop action plans; measure and analyze results; initiate corrective actions; and minimize the impact of variances.

• Develop key performance indicators for the distribution department staff and temporary workers.

• Define work flows and provide daily coaching and guidance to the Distribution team to ensure all projects meet timing and budget considerations as they pertain to B2B and B2C shipments.

Requirements:

• Proven record of success in leading a team in B2B and B2C packaging and order fulfillment systems.

• Exceptional organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight time constraints.

• Ability to effectively articulate ideas, both written and verbally, showing both risks and rewards.

• Must possess strong decision-making skills, exercising sound judgment.

• College degree preferred.
