Afterglow Cosmetics www.AfterglowCosmetics.com offers a full line of organic makeup. We are located close to the RDU airport off of I-40. We are looking for a very responsible, self starter for light product assembly and order fulfillment. This person should have the passion and potential to quickly move into a management role and manage the assembly/fulfillment side of the operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assembling, inspecting, labeling and boxing cosmetics
  
• Maintaining and auditing calibration data of equipment and warehouse
  
• Identifying and documenting non-conformance and managing the corrective action system
  
• Inspect product and place in designated storage area to be packed for shipment
  
• Carefully and accurately process and pack orders
  
• Using the USPS and FedEx systems to label and ship packages.
  
• Follow all safety rules for equipment and general warehouse operations
  
• Responsible for daily cleaning and maintenance of facility
  
• Perform cycle counting and ensure inventory accuracy
  
• Responsible for the inspection, review and approval of incoming and outgoing products for conformity
  
• Responsible for transporting packages to the post office
  
• Responsible for interfacing with carriers FedEx/DHL
  
• Due to the nature of our company it is essential that you are a team player. You will be asked to help in various departments as needed.

• Lift up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis floor to waist
  
• Must be able to stand on feet for 8-10 hrs a day
  
• Must be comfortable climbing up and down ladders
  
• Must have reliable transportation
  
• Skill and ease working with your hands with small objects
  

EXPERIENCE:

• A proven record on continuous quality improvement
  
• A record of going above a beyond in past jobs and acting as a team player
  
• Prior experience using handheld RF scanning devices a plus
  
• Inventory control and/or cycle counting experience
  
• Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)
